What are live in-game substitutions?
They let you swap a player out of your lineup during an in-progress NFL game — for example when a starter gets injured or underperforms. Points already earned are frozen and kept; the incoming player scores from the moment of the swap.
How does scoring work when I substitute?
A lineup slot total = Frozen Points (everything the players you subbed out already banked) + the New Player’s Points (everything the current player earns after entering the slot). You never lose points already scored.
